Argolla is celebrating

Argolla is celebrating 7 years of its existence. During this time, we have successfully produced more than 330 dance-acrobatic performances, openings, events and corporate shows in which we cooperated with artists and clients from 12 countries of the world.

Argolla – At the beginning there was a dream

At the beginning there was a dream about a performance, which would combine diverse genres of performing arts into one entity. We have traveled around the world with fire show performances, where we have met interesting artists and performers. An idea about a performance, which interconnects classic dance, theatrical elements, circus and acrobatic acts, begun to take shape.

The first big show that we have created was a one-hour-long performance at the biggest music festival in Slovakia called Pohoda in 2006. Our show was very successful. The most well-known TV channels and media in our country informed the public about our performance. The combination of classic dance, theatrical elements, circus and acrobatic acts and a story line proved to be the right way. It opened many options, that we were willing to make the best of. This is how our story began.

From that moment till now we have performed 330 shows in 12 countries. We have co-operated with more than 160 artists. We have created a number of customized performances for corporate events and coherent shows lasting over one hour.

The word “Argolla” comes from Spanish language. It means circle or ring. In our eyes, Argolla is a mystical country, where dreams come true and reality changes into a dream. Our aim is to create performances that will change people’s understanding of the limits between the possible and the impossible. Everything becomes possible, if we believe and never give up in our dreams. Everyday reality can turn into a fairytale, if we look at it the right way.

At the beginning there was a dream and today it lives its own life. In the words of enchantress form our show:

“No one can take your dream away, if you don’t let it go.”
